#14 Romeo and Juliet , tragedy and tragic flaw
one criticism of the play is that it is not a true tragedy in which the main character (s) is ultimately brought down by his tragic flaw ( a character trait such as ambition, indecisiveness, greed) which they really can't help...it is who they are)
if it is a tragedy - and it says it is in the title - then what are Romeo and Juliet's tragic flaws?

#13 the play's the thing..
at this point, the question ordinarily would be "where do you think this play is going?"
but since we all know where it is going, one observation (three lines or less) about the play so far (something thoughtful and thought-provoking) about the plot, a character , the setting, Shakespeare, the themes,,,whatever...

#10 Shakespeare in Education
As we all prepare to begin our journey through Romeo and Juliet, a play written hundreds of years ago, it is important to reflect on why we study Shakespeare. Why do you think it is important? What can we learn from these plays? Do you believe they hold educational value and/or should we continue to study them? Below is a link to Shakespeare Online's exploration of the subject, but what is your opinion?
